Great book

I greatly enjoyed this book. It held my interest once again as did the previous book

Cannot wait for you to finish the audio on book 3 of what could easily be your greatest work to date

I am looking forward to the next book. Excellent listen, and I was tense, elated, worried and carried away by the many diverse characters.

Good book but I need book 3. Two out of three just doesn't finish the story. we need three.

3 book series

i was surprised after finishing book 2.that audible doesnt have book 3 and zero info on weather they ever will. i even called them to find out. why would you only sell 2 of the 3? Other than that i have enjoyed the 2 books so far. The characters arnt some over powered cartoons. which i like in my reading. looking forward to book 3?

I like it, and I wish some things were different

These books have been enjoyable, I expect to keep listening to the series. There's a lot of great character and world building... and then these strange gaps where it's not. It's in the practical details for me, what makes the story hang together and helps me suspend disbelief, and they take me out of the story. Some examples:
God Steel-so heavy normal people can't lift it, need special horses to be able to carry someone with it, only gives its power when being held. But apparently fine on a sword belt? It seems if it can make a table groan with it's weight, it would snap a belt.
Pandora's box - gets mentioned once. The author has established a detailed pantheon for this world, and it isn't Greek. Someone should have caught this.
The whole Jonik and the fisherman thing. Is it a local fishing vessel or a deep sea ship? How is it fine with 5 sailors, at least 1 of whom is always described as weak and worthless. Plus the whole life-debt thing was so abrupt as to feel silly. And why are the fishermen obsessed with calling horses 'steeds'
"We have a superstar on board" - modern, anachronistic reference.

It's these little, maybe picky, things that keep this from being a great series.

Written extremely well and always love this narrator. can't wait to get into the next book.

I forgot this was book two it was so good. This book was engaging and revealed bombs so subtlly is was amazing!¡
