Worst narration I have ever heard.

The series of the Shackleford Sister is a typical romance in the style of The Bridgertons. Unfortunately, as the series goes on, it becomes a dull, poorly narrated, sorry story. The narration is horrible. It is so bad, it's difficult to follow the characters of the book. One more thing that bothered me is the constant repetition of phrases from the characters. I'm sorry this is not as good as the first in the series.

Best one yet!

I loved the first two, but this one is my favorite so far! Mystery and a romance! A really fun read!

Male narration of female voices is terrible.

Male narration of female characters is terrible. I quit listening because of this and didn’t finish the book. If the same male narrator was used on the other books, I won’t be listening to them either.

Story j um ps around. hard to keep up

Narration confusing. different voices for same person - depends on who is hearing them ??

Entertaining Read

The characters come to life with this audio version. The mystery was well conceived and keeps the reader entertained. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Ok but

Ok Love story because of the constant interaction and recognized attraction BUT I never felt the connection.
Also, the mystery was confusing. & had one MAJOR flaw. During Regency England, Even recognized Illegitimate offspring nor their children could inherit titles or entailed property (property that, by law, passed to the next legitimate male heir).. Ever. So that leaves the motive for the entire deception (& book) null and void.
Finakly I hated the female voice the male narrator used for the FMC, it was grating.
can't recommend this one but book1&2 were good.

Rusty Guts

So far this one has been my favorite because I love a good mystery.
And I loved every time Faith said Rusty Guts! I still can’t stop laughing .
However, I am not a fan of two narrator’s. I have listened to books where the male voice ONLY does the male characters and the female voice ONLY does the female characters. But this one is not like that. I can’t stand listening to a man do a women’s voice. It’s like nails on a chalkboard for me. And the fact that each one was doing both did make it sometimes confusing.

The narration ruins it

It's hard to imagine these characters as remotely attractive or even tolerable with those miserable voices.
