This was a great listen! I enjoyed the diversity of the characters and their interactions. Well written and researched with a great story line!

Best CC Series!

Mike Maden did an absolutely fantastic job continuing this series. This was one of my favorites so far. Scott Brick was great as usual!

Gripping

Mike Maden is the fourth author to write the Oregon Series since the death of Clive Cussler. I am still adjusting to the different styles of writing even though they attempt to keep Cussler’s style. The Oregon Series was by far my favorite of the various series that Cussler wrote. Cussler had a way of getting the hero out of trouble only to immediately get him into bigger trouble. I found myself exhausted by the end of the book. Maden does not seem to catch that relief I felt when they got out of situations and the sudden anxiety I felt when they suddenly are in bigger trouble. It is a difficult thing to describe but Cussler was a master in building this tension in his story. I will continue to read this series as I feel like I am a crew member of the Oregon.

I read this as an audiobook downloaded from Audible. The book is thirteen hours and twelve minutes. One of my favorite narrators, Scott Brick, does an excellent job narrating the story.

Great as always

Very good. Enjoyed it very much and can’t wait for the next one. The writer did a great job carrying on the Oregon’s legacy.

Lots of action

still too much long backstory on characters on situations for minor incidents. it's obvious that it is added later as filler to make the book longer

Fun read

It’s not the best, it’s not the worst. If you are a fan it’s worth a read. If you aren’t, this is not the book to start with.

Another Great Adventure

Mike Maden has written another superb, action-packed story that carries on the Cussler tradition. Scott Brick did his usual awesome job on the performance. Highly recommend! Can’t wait for the next adventure.
