My son is a huge Stuart Gibbs fan and loves the Fun Jungle, Spy School, and Space Base sets. He isn't as fond of Charlie Thorne, but I actually like to listen to them for something light. I'm a huge history buff and still always learn some details I never knew before. I especially like that Gibbs does not gloss over the ugly parts of history and he always has strong female characters in all his novels.

I love this book and series so much!
I love Charlie so much. Her mind, her feminism, her relationship with the other characters.The book is education and interesting and really do hope she ends up with Kenji. I can't wait for the next Charlie Thorne books by Stuart Gibbs. Thank you!!

He’s gotten worse
The story telling has become stale and repetitive. Same ideological tropes with Witty facts about something that happened in history and why it was bad. Narrator did her best and her performance carried this overall underwhelming story.
