Russell is a technology-focused CEO, passionate about growing businesses with new products, in new markets. Quite often this involves optimising the intersect of data, cloud and machine learning for SaaS-focused products. Over the last two decades he has been fortunate enough to work for some great companies – from listed multi-nationals to private medium-sized businesses. Those experiences have helped him to develop deep P&L, operational, commercial, financial, strategic and acquisitions experiences. He has worked across multiple sectors – from FinTech to Cyber Security – but all have involved software, technology infrastructure, information and data analytics. Whether as a consultant or CEO, Russell has driven growth via a combination of organic innovation and acquisitions. While a British national, Russell has lived and worked in four continents – Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. Each one has given him a different perspective, developing a cultural empathy and respect for what makes us all different. Beyond the day job, he is a non-executive board member and advisor to a number of boards in the tech industry. As a father of two teenage boys, he’s also a strong advocate of internet safety and has supported multiple charities to tackle this challenge.
