I remember going to the library, and picking up a few books. I wasn't much of a reader back then, but my dad encouraged me to gain my reading skills during the summer breaks. It has been an absolute challenge to find books that I would enjoy, but my heart has lastingly settled on Sci-Fi as my desired genre. One day, I was strolling down the Sci-Fi aisle and spotted a book on the floor. Someone must have tipped it off the bookshelf, unnoticed. Before I returned the book to its rightful place, I flipped through the pages. I realized that this book was not a formal, left-to-right passive reading format but a more choice-based scenario. It was gratifying. However, I got frustrated because of the numerous looping when I failed to make the right choice. It didn't dawn on me until after I finished The Xyania Project. Yes, it is your typical, left-to-right passive reading style, but what if it started as a choice-based interactive novel? What if?
