The author was born in Albany, Georgia and is a graduate of Savannah State University. While attending the “College by the Sea,” he studied music and led the baritone section of the Concert choir while serving as pianist for the Cherubim’s choir at Saint Mathew’s Episcopal Church. He was initiated into the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and was presented in Senior Piano recital at Savannah’s Second Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. He then served in the United States Army 25th Chemical Defense core in Bad Kreuznach, West Germany where he also served as pianist for the Base Chapel’s Gospel services before being deployed to an Aviation Division in Monterey, California during Operation Desert Storm. The author’s post-military career spans over twenty years mostly working in Corporate Financial marketing within the telecom industry while living in Atlanta and as a Defense contractor in Southwest Georgia where he was finally able to complete the writing of his first novel “Big Auntie’s Pearls.”
