Dr. Taulbee was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area to attend University of California San Francisco Medical Centre. She graduated in 1981 and was in her 8th year of private practice when she acknowledged a call to preach. She graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary and has been pastoring since 1996. Saundra is married and lives in Orange County. Her call is now to plant a new church reaching unchurched people who have given up on and "hate church".
