After a career in publishing, I became a freelance writer, critic and curator, specialising in Modern British Art, curating exhibitions on David Jones, Julian Trevelyan and Dora Carrington (forthcoming) at Pallant House Gallery, Chichester. I co-authored THE NEW ALDEBURGH ANTHOLOGY with Jonathan Reekie, and THE ART OF DAVID JONES: VISION AND MEMORY with Paul Hills, and have written on art and books for many periodicals including the Spectator, RA Magazine, TLS, FT , Tablet and Slightly Foxed.
