One warm night four children stood in front of a bakery. No one knew them. No one knew where they had come from. Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny are orphans. Can they find a home where they can stay together as a family?

When an oil spill takes place off the coast of Connecticut, the Aldens are happy to volunteer to help clean up the animals affected, including a rare species of shore bird. But could more have been done to prevent the spill? As the Aldens take up the case, it leads them on an adventure to help other endangered animals around the world.

Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny are off to the rain forests of Sumatra, where a protected piece of land is home to endangered animals such as orangutans, elephants, and tigers. But when part of the forest gets cut down, the Aldens have to figure out who is responsible, not only to protect the rain forest, but also the animals within.

Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny are going down under. Off the coast of Australia, they dive in to explore the Great Barrier Reef. With the help of their conservationist guide, Kayla, they learn about ways to help rebuild the damaged reef. But coral reefs take a long time to take shape. Can the Aldens find ways to help the animals that need help now?

After helping clean up an oil spill in Connecticut, the Aldens are heading to a much cooler climate, where scientists are working to conserve the snow leopard population. With only hundreds left in the world, the Aldens know each animal is important. Can the Aldens do their part to help save this elusive and important animal?

The Aldens are going to visit a guide dog school - but once they arrive, mysterious things start to happen. Benny sees strange lights in one of the dormitory rooms... and late one night, someone breaks into the kennel where the guide dogs are kept. Is someone after one of the dogs? The Aldens are helping out at the Greenfield Ice Cream Barn. They are learning to make ice cream and creating some new flavors. But they soon notice that the ice cream isn’t the only thing getting mixed up at the Ice Cream Barn. It appears that someone wants to shut the shop down! Can the Boxcar Children sort out this sticky mess before the Ice Cream Barn gets licked?

Walter the Cat is a star, but is he too famous for his own good? The Boxcar Children must find out who's trying to ruin this cat's career!

The four Aldens like visiting the large old museum owned by their grandfather's friend. But then Jessie sees a huge, scary shadow moving in the room where the dinosaur skeletons are on display. And bones from the enormous Tyrannosaurus rex disappear. They must find the missing bones and solve the mystery before an exhibit is scheduled to open - or there might not be a dinosaur exhibit at all!
