Jethro enlists the help of one of the marvelous Mrs. Molly White, the proprietor of the Cozy Bridal Agency. To Jethro’s delight, Molly helps him find suitable mail-order brides for each of his sons, but she also has a big surprise up her sleeve that will change Jethro’s world too!

Twin brothers Ivan and Theo Knerr are determined never to moon over a woman the way they see their brother Alan doing over his new wife, Cynthia. Suspecting that their father, Jethro, has a plan to see them married off, too, they tell him that they will only ever marry twins. Miles away, an exasperated mother tires to convince her twin girls, Georgina and Danielle, that their dream of marrying twin men is childish. She even sends them to her cousin, Molly White, hoping that she might further convince them. Molly, however, has other ideas.

Noelle Boyd is a fearless detective, much to the chagrin of the city crime lords, who want her dead. Fearing for his friend’s life, her captain enlists the help of a friend, Molly White, to devise a reason to get her out of the city and to safety. Under the pretense of finding the truth about a young man accused of murder, Noelle travels to Fort Walla Walla, not knowing that the real reason is a Molly-made matchmaking adventure straight to the unsuspecting arms of one of Jethro’s sons—Pierce Knerr. 

Mrs. Molly White, owner of the Cozy Bridal Agency, finds a young lady shivering and alone in the park. Flora Moore despairs for her future. Molly, however, has a plan for the virtuous girl—a plan that will take her west to meet the son of Jethro Knerr, Robin. A glimmer of hope flashes in Flora’s heart, but is swiftly cut off when her train to Walla Walla is derailed and swarmed by vile bandits. When Robin and his brothers arrive at the crash site, there is no sign of Flora. Will Robin find her in time to rescue her, or will he lose her before they’ve even met?

Anxious to see the world and prove that he is a man who can look after himself, he determines to prove his independence, with frightening results.  Brutally beaten, robbed, and left for dead, it is only the compassionate care of Hope and Barbara that saves Anthony’s life. But is this strange young man from out of town to be trusted?

Jethro Knerr should be happy. He has achieved his goal of seeing all seven of his sons happily married, and he has several grandchildren on the way. But everything around him feels suddenly empty, and far too quiet. His enormous house is too big for just himself. Jethro's friends try to convince him that what he needs is a companion with which to share his life and the wonderful times ahead with his grandchildren, but Jethro cannot even entertain the thought of loving another woman. His heart still belongs to his beloved Miriam, although she has been gone for more than 10 years.
