The Dragon Queen of Chaos

Jarryd has been haunted by visions since he was a small child, terrifying scenes of the Dragon Queen and her demons slaughtering the innocent. Visions he must keep secret, lest the village priest burn him and his family at the stake for consorting with evil. Lonely and outcast, Jarryd lives in fear that the smallest lapse will seal his fate and deliver his soul to the Dragon Queen. When he comes of age, a terrible change comes upon him. A strange power begins to manifest in him—a power that can only come from the Queen.

Jarryd risked everything to obtain the Thaumaturge stone, a weapon so powerful it devastated a nation. With it, he might have a chance against the Dragon Queen. If the weapon doesn’t kill him first. For the stone’s power grows by the day, and Jarryd’s friends fear what it is doing to him.

Nearly killed in his battle with the Emperor, Jarryd realizes the only hope for victory is if he masters the Sight, the strange ability he's feared his entire life. There is precious little time to do so. The Emperor and his dragons are gathering at Mocte'el for the ritual that will free the Dragon Queen. Unfortunately, Mocte'el is thousands of leagues away.
