Ocean Adventures

Tiddler was always fidgeting. He wriggled and squiggled, until his mum told him to go out and swim till he was tired. So Tiddler swam out into the deep sea, where he met limpets and jellyfish, he went further till he reached a big, dark cave.

Far away in the deep rolling ocean lived Smiley Shark. Smiley Shark longed to dip and dive, jiggle and jive, dart and dash with a splish and a splash with all the other fish; but whenever he smiled at them they swam away. But when all of the other fish are trapped in a fisherman’s net, it’s up to Smiley Shark to find away to free them – and he saves the day with his big, toothy smile!

Snippety-snap! Nipper is a clumsy crab. His huge claws always get in the way! When he tries to play catch-the-bubble with his friends, he accidentally pops the bubble. When everyone plays tag, Nipper trips on one of his claws. And when Nipper and his pals play hide-and-seek, Nipper’s big claws smash his hiding place!

Down in the ocean lived tickly octopus with eight twisty, twirly tentacles that loved to tickle the fish. Octopus thought tickling was fun! But some of the other sea creatures didn’t like to be tickled. But Octopus thought that tickling was what he did best. One day Octopus tickled Oyster while she was sleeping. Oyster was so startled that she lost her pearl. After apologising, Octopus went in search for Oyster’s pearl and soon discovered that he had many talents other than tickling.

Oh no! Smiley Shark has the biggest hiccups ever! Hic, Hic, Hicuuuuuup! Soon he is doing roly-polies with Starfish, being tickled by Octopus and holding his breath with Pufferfish. But nothing’s working! Will his friends ever put a stop to his big and bothersome hiccups?
