On Crynn Dayholt’s eighteenth birthday, she spins the wheel. The needle lands on the only black square. For 10 years or her death, whichever comes first, she is now the leader of a group of people called the Stalkers. People sent from the safety of Soriah to clear the city outside the wall of Malignants, a breed formed by earth’s desecration.

Her thirst for revenge against the mighty city of Soriah has her on the constant hunt for soldiers willing to desert Soriah’s army and fight on the side of the rebellion. Her incessant hunt for others takes a back seat when she is handed the journals of the man who had built the underground compound. A man more evil than the president of Soriah. A man who held secrets to the earth’s destruction.

Crynn Dayholt and her group of warriors discover the city of Peace. The man who runs the city, known as the Governor, welcomes them with open arms. As Crynn’s strong personality and warrior spirit emerge when her and her group become virtual prisoners, the Governor’s demeanor changes and not only Crynn’s life is at risk.
