Morrow Family Saga

It is the summer of 1950, and the Red Scare is in full swing. One family has found itself in the cross hairs of enemies because of its unconventional social views. With this interracial family, it is time to stand up and fight...or be destroyed. Caught in the middle is Natalia Morrow. At nine, she is more concerned with boys and makeup than with the state of the world around her. But events will force her to wake up from her idyllic dreamland and face reality.

Historical fiction based in the 1950s. Follows one family through the turbulent 50s as rivalries are born and the political and social environment changes.

Natalia continues her journey through the 1950s with a trip to Broadway and Washington, DC.

The 1950s. A time of fantasy and darkness, the "red scare" is in full swing, and McCarthy is hunting imaginary enemies. The federal and state investigations into French Industries are also in full swing. America is also about to get more involved in the French Indochina war. For Natalia Morrow, things are about to change. New members are about to be added to the play she calls her family's life.... 

The year 1954. Natalia Morrow is 13 and already turning heads. Her crush on Tobias French has become worse and her inability to separate fact from fantasy has her parents concerned. The French family has lost it all. Their greed and thirst for power has cost them everything, including their home and possessions. But Tobias believes his father has money hidden away. After all, he does. It doesn't matter that the money is stolen.... He still has it stashed away. Across the pond in French Indochina, Nick and Demmie Morrow are still fighting to keep the US out of the war.

Natalia Morrow is 15. Her relationship with Tobias isn't all what it seems. As Thanksgiving nears, America officially goes to Vietnam, Toby plots his revenge, and Toffer realizes his life is almost over. J. Edgar (Eddie) Hoover and Clyde Tolson hide their relationship while running the FBI. But in Washington, secrets never remain secrets...

On the eve of his father's death, Tobias does the unthinkable and flees to the military with his gang. With very little training, they are delivered to Vietnam and the Morrow brothers for punishment. The first of which is detox from drugs. Back in Des Moines, Natalia Morrow's world has been shattered and things have become darker.
