The simple solution is to have reincarnated Atlantean Cameron Singh astral travel to check it out. When Singh disappears, Manny DuBois volunteers to head an expedition to investigate and gather hard evidence. As the Crystal ship nears the City, warning bells go off and the ship disappears.
