When nursing student Kenda crashes into cyclist Logan on a leisurely bike ride, Kenda is horrified; especially when she finds out he is a famous doctor to the stars and this accident will lay him up for months. While Logan is upset that he will lose patients and income over this, Kenda is terrified that she won't get a full-time job at the hospital because of her carelessness.

Jacy Sarena is shocked when she learns she will be temporarily leaving NYC to work with famous Los Angeles doctor, Zack Matthews, who she has had a huge crush on. She's shocked at how cold and rude he is when she meets him. When his medical partner, Luke, hits it off with Jacy, Zack sets a plan in motion to get her fired and sent back to NYC. But when the call comes for her to go, Zack has second thoughts.

Evette heads to her boss's cabin by the lake for a much need vacation break. She quickly becomes annoyed with her neighbor, Jordan, and makes it known that she wants left alone. Jordan is also annoyed by Evette and has no interest in long-term relationships ever since his ex cheated on him and stole his money. As they try to ignore each other, sparks start to fly until Evette packs to go home, tells Jordan she is leaving LA, and bids farewell to Jordan forever.
