Creature Encounters

Off the coast of New Zealand, there's an underwater mining facility 8,000 feet under the ocean. The crew stationed there knows that drowning is the least of their worries at such depths. That's why they panic when a maintenance member goes missing while out on a repair mission. There's something far worse down there than the crushing pressure, the ticking timers on their oxygen tanks, and the everlasting darkness that inhabits such depths. And it's hunting them one by one.

They thought the plane crash was the worst that could happen to them. They were dead wrong. Stranded in the middle of the forest and without help, six crash survivors forge a plan to stay alive in the harsh conditions that surround them. As the days go on and their supplies dwindle, the tension in the group increases. To make matters worse, they soon begin to realize that they are being watched by someone...or rather something. The bodies of their dead passengers disappear in the night, animalistic shrieks fill the air, and sometimes, they see a figure between the trees watching them.

Something lurks in the darkness of the trees. A group of friends goes on a hike in search of an ancient spring deep inside the forest. Mythical stories come from the woods—tales of gnomes, fairies, and other not so benevolent creatures. Everything changes for the group when they run into a hiker that mysteriously vanished in the area weeks ago. She is malnourished, dehydrated, and hurt, but she keeps raving about the danger in the woods, repeating one incoherent word over and over in a foreign language.

Stranded in the middle of Antarctica, Concordia Station is so far from any point of civilization that it was dubbed "White Mars." But the freezing temperatures and the prolonged isolation aren't the only problems that the crew has to face. When the research team returns with a new specimen discovered deep inside the frozen underground lake, things take a foul turn for the station members. They don't realize how intelligent this lifeform is. They don't realize how long it lay dormant, waiting to be discovered; waiting for its opportunity to leave the ice and infect the world.
