When a plane crash lands during a stormy night on Grand Cayman, AJ Bailey must pull the survivors from the roiling waters. But saving Carlos Rojas, and his girlfriend Sydney, starts something bigger than anyone could foresee. The two recently fled Cuba with vital information. The story begins during the "Golden Age" of flying and quickly moves into current time where AJ and her friends, Reg and Thomas, use clues from 1958 to hunt down a wreck. They thought the technical dives were challenging, but the dangers in the ocean are nothing compared to the ruthless men that come speeding across the waters.

An unassuming man coerces his way onto the island with AJ's involuntary assistance. Could he be as harmless as he seems, or capable of something far more sinister? When AJ encounters a stranger on a suspicious boat after her morning dives, she finds herself caught in a bizarre game of cat and mouse while she leads an unlikely villain all over the island.
