Rax is a skeevy terraformer, who constructs cheap planets with blatant disregard for regulations in the fringes of the galaxy. But his customers are the law-averse type who want nothing to do with the Federation anyway. It's all win-win until a shoddy planet departs its orbit due to the impure nickel sourced by Rax. Terraformers LLC's rag tag crew of Rax the proprietor, Kaja the project manager, Grip their heavy lifting drone, Stevenson the failed accountant and Dollfac their spaceship... cut so many corners... that they come a full circle.

Mini, wife of the murderous Vlarg has been kidnapped. The ransom - raid the Boar treasury - which Rax unfortunately is quite familiar with. Rax gets pulled into a con without a cause.

A terrible prospector, a broke mining executive and Rax get together to do a good deed. Well, of course not. The three men from different arms of the galaxy unite under a common unethical spirit to pull a fast one on a major mining corporation. If it all falls apart, Rax has a secret project on the down low.

Rax and crew come upon a bunch of Earth Freaks... folks who romanticized the erstwhile Earth. The Freaks want an exact replica of Earth for their "plan" which was - for things to go back the way they were before space travel. Apparently they wanted the entire galactic population to resettle back in Earth. Rax and crew return to what they do best... build the iffiest of iffy planets... Earth.

Pretending to be speavers at the edge of the galaxy, Rax and crew are caught by Boar Galaxy border patrol for impersonating of all beings... the dreaded speavers. To avoid going to Boar prison, the Terraformers take up a real nasty job... extract dna from declining civilizations of the Boar galaxy. Rax and crew get dirty in declining dna.

Due to Stevenson's rather creative tax filings, Terraformers LLC gets flagged and assigned to a prickly Union Tax Agent. To Rax's horror the pinstriped taxman wants not tax but something else. He wants Rax to build a prison planet for reasons best left unsaid. Rax goes from criminal to Federally approved contractor in one cycle.

Something is up with Elara. And weirdly, something is up with Akanksha as well. Elara is into motorbikes now while Akanksha thinks cars are cool. They are acting like each other but subtly. How could this happen? Did someone swap their consciousness? Seemed more like a mixed up character sheet. Did the developers do it? Is it a bug? Garrett is caught in the unexpected conundrum.

An ice miner gets cut in half by divorce and his now ex-wife has gained control of their private holiday planet. The miner wants payback with plausible deniability. He wants Rax and crew to steal the emerald moon orbiting their private planet. The methane filled emerald moon that made soothing sounds was literally the talk of the sector. And the ice miner wanted it back.... back at his shack on the ice belt.... which was all he had now.

Garrett starts seeing flights. Was he imagining them? Nope, Elara was seeing them too. Who was flying planes up there? Another real worlder has been immersed - Kaja has entered the game... but why was she flying so much... Garrett has trouble meeting her because she's flying and he doesn't know her base. While he devices a sophisticated plan to meet her, Elara and Akanksha push him off a cliff.

It's been a year since Garrett's in game revolution took place. Everything seemed fine until the universe flickered. It wasn't in the game; it was in the real world. A massive power surge damages the servers... and Garrett's VR world. Garrett needs to... has to get back in there to save his friends.

A fiery online squabble - a regular day at work - sleep. One would expect to wake up and repeat it all over again. But Garrett wakes up inside a game as the MC - the main character. In his attempts to wile or win his way out things take a surprising turn as Garrett meets a bunch of repressed NPCs. Among the NPCs he finds a romantic buddy. And then another. Perhaps one too many. But they are all loyal to his cause. As the Garrett Army increases in size and geographic reach, a few real world players tip the scales and help Garret win his freedom.

Another real world gamer, a 22 year old girl has also been immersed by the developers for using the cheat codes exposed by the Garrett Army. Does Garrett get a friend or a foe?

While frolicking in an abandoned luxury moon, Rax and crew are photographed by a small, slow moving Asset Verification Probe sent by the moon's owners, the MeMi Mining Corporation. As the probe traverses from one abandoned MeMi mine system to another and so forth, Rax and crew quit R&R and do all they can to catch the probe and delete the damning images.
