Many view Viktor Frankl as a hero, in regard to his theories and logotherapy. Essentially, his teachings are the source of "self-improvement". He was the first life coach. Heroes such as Frankl evolve silently, but make a huge impact on the world that ripples throughout the ages. Once those individuals are gone from this plane of existence, the world is forever changed. Humanity is not the same.

Almost everybody has heard the name Mother Teresa in one circumstance or another, but what do we really know about her? We usually get the idea that she was religious and spent most of her life sacrificing her own comfort to help poor people. But often we do not learn more, unless we are learning more about her in school, or read an article about her because our interest has been kindled. If we do not delve deeper, we will not learn how Mother Teresa came to be Mother Teresa, and we will never find out how we can use her example to become better people ourselves, no matter what our own religion is.

The master motivational speaker and spiritual channeler now known as Abraham Hicks was born Esther Weaver on March 5, 1948, in Coalville, Utah. Her parents, Henry "Bill" Emerson Weaver and Ruth Blazzard Weaver, raised Esther and her sisters, Jeanne and Rebecca Weaver, in Layton, Utah. Contrary to the life of blissful luxury Esther Hicks currently enjoys, she was once a small-time girl.

Thich Nhat Hanh has practiced peace in a world of violence, divisiveness, stress, and hostility since the age of just 16 years old. In fact, it was at this age that Thich Nhat Hanh joined a Zen monastery. He studied Buddhism extensively and passionately, and was ordained by 1949. Initially inspired and equally troubled by war-torn Vietnam in the 1960s, Thich Nhat Hanh realized that hatred was not the answer. Love, understanding, and harmony, however, stood as the only true solution.
