There are few characters in literature more iconic than J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up. The story of Peter Pan is all that you imagine it will be - and so much more. While narrating this delightful audiobook, I was struck by both how similar it is to the beloved stage musical (I've always wanted to play Peter, and this was my chance! - well, without the flying) and also by how much deeper the narrative goes - if you wish it to. It made me think about the joys and losses of growing up, the darker side of children ("gay and innocent and heartless"), the power and depth of parental love, and the secret kisses we all keep inside that only someone special can unlock.
