It's fall 2007. A well-timed leak has revealed that the US government might have engaged in first contact. Cora Sabino is doing everything she can to avoid the whole mess, since the force driving the controversy is her whistleblower father. Maybe animals aren't as dangerous as he's been conditioned to believe. Maybe his rebel parents aren't the bad guys. Maybe he's playing for the wrong team. Finn must choose a side; either way it will cost him. His family, or his future...but neither are as terrifying as what may lurk beyond The Wall.
