What began as a normal game for a retired veteran who, after a long and eventful life, decided to spend his few remaining days inside of a virtual world, has abruptly started acquiring features of reality. A terrible, dysfunctional, and sometimes murderous reality. For a while, Volper only manages to survive thanks solely to his combat experience. And then he meets others he simply cannot pass by, because of one of his two weaknesses.

An old military veteran wanted to add a little color to his lonely existence. So, he entered Alpha Rome. This virtual world has given him the chance to feel young again and have one last taste of the spice of life. The prospect of death is no longer daunting, as anyone who dies is reborn by replicating in a purpose-built capsule. Volper’s military experience, keen eye and sharp negotiating skills have helped him get off to a successful start, but his view of the project has taken a sharp turn. More and more questions are popping up and there are no answers in sight.

What would you think if, in your old age, the doctors tell you that you only have a couple years left to live, and even ultra-modern medical technology is powerless to help? Some may spend their remaining years at the bottom of a bottle, others may choose to spend it quietly, with family...But there are also those who are ready to leave everything behind. Volper is one of those who has decided to have one last hurrah and immerse himself in a virtual reality.

Having emerged from the sandbox into the wide world of Disgardium, Scyth and his friends find themselves under the watchful eye of the preventers. The strongest clans in the world hunt not only Scyth, but also the already discovered "threat" Crag, a member of the Awoken clan. But this is just one of many problems; the Sleeping God has another impossible quest for them.

Miles “Shrug” Lindstrom has endured the first few days of his new monster-infested world. He has become the Champion of a god, and managed to become one of the most powerful survivors in his area. However, a new quest to kill a giant—a boss monster—will be difficult if not impossible to accomplish by himself. Gathering more power for himself is a safe bet towards all of his goals, and might be easier now that he has a class. But if this new world is anything, it’s uncertain.
