Harold, the golden retriever, really, really wants to be a good dog. One Christmas morning he hears the people in the school hall singing "Bark The Harold Angel!" Wow! Hot dog! They're singing about him! Harold decides he must be a really important dog after all. But Harold is making a big mistake! When he jumps into the Dad's bed, Harold is sent to the dog house. He doesn't even get the turkey scraps. Prince, the poopy little puppy nabs those. How can Harold save Christmas?

It's hard to be a good dog, but Harold the golden retriever really tries. Then the dad brings home Prince, a silly little puppy the Dad says is smart and brave. Prince! “Smart and brave!” Harold can hardly believe his ears! Even worse, when Prince does a doggy-doo right in the house, the dad blames Harold! Harold thinks Prince is a poopy little puppy. How is he going to live with him in his house?
