When Daniel Gordis, his wife, Elisheva, and their three young children abandoned a safe and comfortable home in Los Angeles to move halfway around the world and find a new life in Israel, the future looked bright. It was 1998, Ehud Barak had just been elected prime minister, and peace appeared to be only a few tough negotiations away. Two years later, hope had turned to terror, as the rattle of machine-gun fire perforated the night and the frightened, exhausted children clung desperately to their stuffed animals in fitful sleep.

Jay and company have survived the initial stages of the experiment. They have had to overcome everything from their dinner trying to eat them to murderous psychopaths trying to carve out a private fiefdom. Worse, they aren't even aware of the impact the dissent among the aliens running this experiment are having on them. Now, all the survivors seem to want a piece of Jay, which when they are a bunch of hot girls, doesn't seem entirely bad. He just has to sort out who is trying to manipulate him and who wants to be on Team Jay....

But we agree upon more than our media and politicians would like to admit. Once we learn to see the other side as a potential ally, we can work together to fix the problems that we are facing.
