As a result of being single for many years, choosing the wrong men to confide in, and having a brutal childhood, which was out of my control, I married two men who were not Christian, and my life was turned upside down, for the worst. After divorcing the mentally and physically abusive men, I decided to change my life for God along with my healthy children who were growing up.

I was molested by my father when I was 12-years-old. He sedated me with marijuana. My first husband physically abused me for 15 years, and one of the beating paralyze me for two weeks. My second husband I though he loved me, but he used me for his Green Card. He later left our two kids and me. I was a victim of fraud.

I, Lisa Peterson, after surviving many years of abuse, in which I have overcome, gave me the will and determination to raise my children to be respectful and successful citizens. I teach them how to handle different challenges they may face in everyday life. Helping them to overcome and achieve their goals in life is vital.
