  • Carnivore JT's Shocking Transformation: More Energy, 30lbs Lighter
    May 21 2024

Carnivore JT explains that his goal is to help people understand the arguments against the carnivore diet and how to combat them. These include questions about vitamins and minerals, heart disease, and fiber. He also discusses how his content is mostly cooking reels, recipes, and reactions to videos related to carnivore diet misinformation. He admits that sometimes he has a sarcastic tone and is not always upbeat, but he wants to provide a different perspective on the diet.
On the Carnivore Diet JT says “I don't have to time my meals before workouts, I just eat when hungry and workout when I can fit it in. Most of the people I coach are just trying to figure out why their previous diets weren't working, and usually it's because they were restricting too much and not focusing on proper nutrition.”
JT is one of the few people who became a carnivore out of choice, not necessity. He was in good shape in his 20s but gained weight in his 30s. He tried Whole30 but felt terrible and regained the weight. He then found Paul Saladino's profile and tried an animal-based diet which instantly made him feel better. He lost weight and started feeling more energetic. He then went full carnivore and saw even more improvements in his health.

  • Carnivore Diet: Say Goodbye to Crohn's, IBS, Anxiety & Fat
    May 15 2024

Welcome to my interview with Emily Harper where she discusses her health journey, which includes previous conditions such as shingles, Crohn's disease, IBS, temporomandibular joint issues, gastroesophageal reflux disease, depression, and anxiety. She explains that she dealt with these issues through various diets and medications before discovering the carnivore diet and that was the one that seemed to fix them all!

She also mentions that she has struggled with her weight but has seen great improvements while on the carnivore diet. Emily also talks about being a living kidney donor. She had struggled with weight issues since childhood and had tried multiple diets and diet pills. She was also dealing with Crohn's disease and type 2 diabetes. In June 2020, she came across carnivore and decided to give it a try. She struggled to stick with it but eventually joined Kelly Hogan's coaching program. In 2021, she went through a messy breakup and turned to emotional eating.
Emily talks about how she went from 210 lbs to 160lbs in nine months after following a carnivorous diet for six and a half months. She also talks about how she started eating carnivorous and how it influenced her overall well-being. I asked Emily about the difference between movement and exercise in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

  • Shocking news for Type 1 Diabetics: Insulin discontinued
    May 10 2024

Alison Smart and the Alliance to Protect Insulin Choice are asking Novo Nordisk to slow down the discontinuation of Levemir (detemir) insulin until a biosimilar is widely available. She educates about the differences between Levemir (detemir) and the two remaining basal insulins (glargine insulins and degludec), and why it is essential this unique insulin stays obtainable.

This is an interview with Alison Smart where she talks about how her daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes two years ago and all the types of insulins that are used to manage it. She also discusses the issue of the discontinuation of one of the insulins and how it will affect patients and their treatments. Allison shares about how she manages her daughter's type 1 diabetes by following a low-carb, high-protein diet. This has helped her daughter maintain stable blood sugar levels and overall better health. Allison's family also follows this diet and they have become healthier as a result. They eat similar types of food to everyone else but make small changes to make them more diabetes-friendly. Allison's daughter has adjusted well to this lifestyle, and they still enjoy treats like root beer floats using sugar-free substitutes.
In short, this interview is about a specific insulin called Levemir that is being discontinued by the pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk. Alison is rallying support for her cause and advocating for the insulin to be kept on the market for the sake of those who rely on it for their health. She has started a petition and created an organization called the Alliance to Protect Insulin Choice. She encourages people
