  • Getting Some ZZZs
    May 1 2025

Most people are pretty serious about sleep, and yet we’re often just not getting enough. If solid, uninterrupted sleep is so vital for our body’s health and repair and our brain’s optimal functioning, it’s also an important foundation for healthy relationships. This week we discuss the pros and cons of new trending ways to get more zzz’s, including mouth taping and the “sleep divorce.” We also walk through our own family bedtime routines that led to peaceful slumber.

  • Things That Annoy Us (More Than They Should)
    Apr 24 2025

In this laugh-out-loud episode, we take a lighthearted dive into the little things that get under our skin. From expensive greeting cards to 4-way stops, from audible breathing to ducks in Jeeps—no bugaboo is off limits. But it’s not all rants and eye-rolls. We also share some thoughts on how to handle pet peeves without letting them pile up or mess with your relationships. Because sometimes, the most annoying things are just reminders to laugh, breathe, and let the small stuff stay small.

10/10 Podcast, “Good Enough” Parents

I may be biased, but after just listening to the trailer, I am sure that this is the world’s greatest podcast. Ok, maybe not THE greatest podcast (RadioLab was pretty good) but definitely up there. Top 50? Listen and decided for your self. Definitely in the top 100–there are also a lot of terrible podcasts out there; I don’t think that top 100 is too unreasonable. And if not the top 100, it will for sure be in the top 500. There is no way it will get knocked out of that bracket. If it doesn’t show up in the Top Podcasts USA browsing category, then that is confirmation of corruption in the system. I guess we will find out.
