America, we gotta get back to doing what's expected of us as free citizens in this democracy. That means being tolerant, being respectful, staying informed, and being engaged. I'm former Congressman Joe Walsh. Follow me here and join the millions of Americans who are renewing their social contract with each other. The social contract. It's on us.

  • Here Comes the Pain
    Sep 6 2025

The consequences are here. The jobs report Friday was horrendous, and it’s only going to get worse. And none of this was necessary. Our economy was roaring before January 20, 2025. Here’s what’s so unique about what’s happening right now: Trump is SINGLEHANDEDLY destroying our economy. This is ALL on him. He inherited the strongest post-Covid economy in the industrialized world. And ALL BY HIMSELF, he’s fucked it up.

    Elections really do have consequences.

  • Lessons For Today: A Conversation With A Leading Activist From The Turbulent 1960’s & 70’s
    Sep 5 2025
I sat down with someone who was on the front lines of community organizing & social activism in the 1960’s, Michael Ansara, to discuss his new memoir, The Hard Work Of Hope,” and discuss lessons learned from that time that can help us defeat the fascist threat America faces today. Cool conversation.

  • Trump, Republicans, & Their Media Cheerleaders Are Covering Up For Powerful Men Who Raped Underage Girls
    Sep 4 2025
There’s really no other way to explain it. Trump, Republicans and their media cheerleaders promised for years that the Epstein files were the mother of all deep state scandals. But now? Never mind, it’s just a hoax, they say. They’re covering up for men who raped underage girls. No other explanation makes sense.

Joe is a good listen, he tries to see both sides, while still passionately holding onto his beliefs.
He’s real, respectful, but has no issue calling out the bull$hit. He’s also is someone who has no fear, in other words, not afraid to call it as he sees it. He’ll weigh the pro’s and con’s. And he’s changed his views and admits when he’s made mistakes. Joe is a refreshing ex politician and a good listen.

Passionate, powerful, honest and open to other opinions

it's refreshing to listen to a political podcast without having to listen to someone bang on about one side or the other in an openly hostile fashion. We definitely need less hostility and more listening (and hearing) in our political dialogue. Joe has been putting on these style podcasts since he realized that our democracy is in trouble and this new show is just what we need. I don't agree with everything he says but if he's willing to let everyone have their say, I am too. Compromise is a dirty word these days, but it's the only option in a democracy.

Same Joe, new podcast, and worthy of a listen.

This is the political show that we need to be listening to. In this age of "I only wanna hear you if you agree with what I say", This show is a MUST LISTEN!.
