What is Long Distance Dating?

Some things sound good on paper, but when you apply it to real life, it loses its appeal. The same can be said about Long Distance Dating. I try to always remain open-minded when it comes to the realms of love, however the most important thing that I have learnt along the journey is knowing yourself and what is realistic FOR YOU. The idea of love surviving overseas (or across post codes) is a romantic notion, but the real time, day to day concept is much more difficult to sustain. It has taken a while, but I know myself and what makes me happy. Unfortunately, long distance relationships don't quite cut it. And believe me, I have tried.
