From the Egyptian Book of the Dead to C.S. Lewis’s The Great Divorce, humanity keeps circling the same threshold: what does it take to notice the rules have changed? That question points straight to the New Testament, where Jesus doesn’t negotiate a future possibility but announces a present reality. The time is fulfilled. The page has turned. Whether or not we voted for it, the kingdom is at hand.
