In mid 2020, my job was eliminated.  After working for over 20+ years as an executive, I stepped away from the toxic hustle and bro-culture that often permeates every aspect of the corporate experience.  Slowly I began to realize the many false narratives women are conditioned to believe, because I lived them and I believed them, too!

 

My name is Barbie Winterbottom and this is The Executive Woman.  This podcast is for Executive Women and those who aspire to be.  We share our lived experiences, our dreams and our challenges.  This is a safe space where we are not fighting to prove our validity.  We are believed, embraced and celebrated. We leave the corporate speak behind and have real, authentic conversations because we deserve to be heard and tell our stories.  Executive Women have been through some things, and as we all know, the higher up we go, the lonelier and more isolating life becomes.
