Was the Film Rollerball Right about our Future?

In the year 1975 the film Rollerball was released. It depicts a future (now our present day) in which corporations run the world and a "bloodsport" is all the rage. Countries no longer exist and individualism is not condoned. We discuss how close this prediction from 1975 to our present day was as well as some of the philosophy of where we sit today with some of the worlds current challenges.
