Anthony Adams and Douglas Coleman were two gay men murdered in separate, unsolved crimes in Salt Lake City in November 1978 — the same month Harvey Milk was assassinated. Basically, the universe turned to gay dudes and said "this isn't your month, babe."

I have a new favorite TV show - AMC’s Interview with the Vampire. Which is interesting, cuz' one of my other favorite tv shows is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And my other favorite is Hannibal. I might be morbid, or I might just have EXCELLENT TASTE IN TELEVISION. Fun game - see if you can guess which portion of this episode I wrote using AI because I had a brief moment where I thought about giving up podcasting so I turned to machine intelligence in desperation to just finish this one. (I'm not quitting but lady, there are times when throwing that towel in looks peaceful...)

Then they made the mistake of befriending a troubled young man who decided they had money to steal. The name of their home? Corpsewood Manor. Tragically fitting.

Ed Koch was the semi-beloved mayor of New York City from 1977 to 1989. I say semi-beloved because NYC's gay community didn't appreciate how he, as a closeted gay man, was doing the bare minimum when it came to the AIDS pandemic.
