  • The Rooms You Choose: Opportunities Taken, Missed and Waiting
    Jan 21 2026

In this episode of Voice Unbound, Laura reflects on the opportunities that shape our lives. The ones we say yes to, the ones we miss, and the ones we don’t even realize were there at the time.

She shares personal insight on why being in the right rooms matters, including stepping into an opportunity this week in San Diego, and how growth often comes simply from showing up with an open heart.

This conversation is an invitation to pause, reflect, and ask yourself what doors God may be opening right now and what courage it takes to walk through them.

Perfect for anyone navigating change, growth, or the quiet nudge to step into something new.

What room is God inviting you to step into right now, and what might be holding you back from saying yes?

  • When Days, Numbers, and Time Start Speaking
    Jan 14 2026

Have you ever noticed repeating numbers, certain dates, or moments in time that seem to stop you in your tracks? In this episode, Laura opens a gentle and honest conversation about days, numbers, and time—and how God often speaks through what we’re tempted to overlook.

When you’ve experienced loss, time feels different. Days carry weight. Numbers resurface. Dates sting, comfort, or quietly whisper reminders of God’s nearness. This episode isn’t about chasing signs—it’s about learning to pay attentionand inviting God into the moments that feel heavy, confusing, or sacred.

If you’ve been wondering whether God is still present in the small details of your life, this conversation is for you.

    • Why time can feel distorted after grief or transition

    • How certain days or numbers can stir emotions, memories, or awareness

    • The difference between noticing and over-spiritualizing

    • How God often meets us in the ordinary, not just the dramatic

    • Learning to pause and ask, “God, what are You inviting me into here?”

God is not bound by time—but He is deeply present within it. Nothing about your life is random, wasted, or overlooked. Even the days that feel insignificant or painful are held by Him.

Is there a day, number, or moment in your life that keeps resurfacing—and instead of dismissing it, what might happen if you brought it to God in prayer?

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”— Psalm 90:12

If time has felt heavy, confusing, or tender lately, you’re not behind—and you’re not missing anything. God is present right here, right now. Healing doesn’t rush, and neither does He.

  • It's Your First Birthday in Heaven Honey
    Dec 22 2025

Today’s episode is one of the most personal I’ve ever shared.

It’s my husband’s first birthday in heaven, and my heart is heavy in ways that are hard to put into words. I talk honestly about missing him every single minute, how life feels disorienting without him here beside me, and what it means to keep showing up when your world feels like it’s spinning.

This episode is not about having the right answers.

It’s about sitting in the grief.

    Honoring love that didn’t end.

And holding onto God as the constant when everything else feels uncertain.

If you are walking through loss, especially during milestones like birthdays, holidays, or anniversaries, this episode is for you. You are not alone in the in between. God is near, even here.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • What the first birthday in heaven really feels like

    • Grief as something we carry, not something we rush through

    • Living through the emotions while the world keeps moving

    • How God meets us in our brokenness without asking us to be strong

    • Hope that holds space for both love and loss

    Scripture Reflection

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

    Psalm 34:18

If this episode touched your heart:

Share it with someone who may need to feel seen today.

Leave a review so this message can reach others walking through loss.

Merry Christmas to all my listeners. May God be with you and your family this week. Please share this podcast with others and leave a five start review.

    Nov 26 2025

This episode is tender, honest, and deeply human. Laura walks through her first holiday season, and her husband’s birthday — without the man who was her partner, her person, and her safe place. If you’re navigating the ache of your own “firsts,” this conversation will meet you with compassion, truth, and hope.

    • How memories collide with the reality of grief
