Vaera: Frogs or Crocodiles?

Discussion of Rabbenu Chananel's view that the second plague in Egypt should be translated as crocodiles (!) rather than frogs (like Rashi, Ibn Ezra). And Abarbanel's explanation based on this as to how crocodiles ended up in freshwater, like the Nile River, to begin with.
