I’ve been reading Philosophers (sometimes without understand a fucking word for 600 pages… I mean great stuff but over my head.
This guy, oh my God, this Scottish guy gets in my head and plucks me to a point of having existential crisis moments at least 20’tines a day.
This guy is challenging me in a way that Alan Watts and Zen Buddhism hasn’t…
This guy is a mirror and I don’t always want to look in, except that I’ve pretended to be looking for this voice in my life, my whole life.
He is not for everyone, or at least you might not know it at first because he’s brutal. He’s a kind of mind altering caveman… hahaha.
It’s so primitive and logical… and in the end “The music that calms the savage beast” - yes that is what he can be for me…
I’ve been wrong about everything and I’m indebted to this guy helping me untangle shit for the rest of my life.
