Co-hosts concentrate on assigned chapter rather than their present concerns (although when relevant it’s of course necessary for this presentation). Grace’s emphasis on GKC’s “get off the train” analogy to the fellow stuck on the London Tube circuit I found apt. And tying this to Noelle Mering’s critique of a earnest Wellesley student’s predicament post-transition as to how categories limit our ability to understand true “diversity” prove a clever segue into the context of over a century ago and how “believe in yourself” bromides already proliferated…
