Unclear Return: Avis Anderson

In this episode of Hunting 4 Answers: In late September 2020, 58-year-old Avis Anderson was last seen outside her home on Wesley Drive in Tallahassee, Florida. Despite multiple searches of the house, police found no trace of her. Nearly two years later, after the home was sold at auction, a cleanup crew made a discovery inside that shifted the case from a disappearance to something far more troubling. Police said they believed the remains found were Avis Anderson’s, but questions remain about when and how she may have returned home. As of the last available reports, investigators were still awaiting positive identification and autopsy results. Police have not publicly stated whether foul play is suspected.
