  • Labels Stick
    Apr 25 2023

In episode two of Unboxed, we dive deep into the power that labels hold and how labels feel when they come from ourselves, our communities, or people who don’t understand our experiences. We explore social media platforms’ relationship with labels and their user needs. An honest discussion about being called “whitewashed”- it being taken as a compliment or a criticism depending on who said it. And we share the positive and negative effects of generalizations made based on labels.

  • Peeling Back The Label
    Apr 19 2023

In the first episode of Unboxed, we introduce ourselves with labels of our own, giving insight into who we are. Then we explore how different domains see labels. (Science science science, blah blah blah.) We finish off with a powerful poem about LGBTQ+ identity and a discussion about feeling comfortable in our own labels.
