Turkey Hunting Then and Now with Mike Pentecost

While on a recent family vacation, Josh had the opportunity to visit the Woodhaven Custom Calls facility in Alabama. Though turkey season is in full swing, owner and founder of Woodhaven Custom Calls Mike Pentecost was kind enough to take some time to record an episode. Mike is not only a fantastic turkey hunter, but he’s also a salt of the earth kind of guy. He’s a man who’s driven by his faith, a strong work ethic, and a passion for wild turkeys, and that certainly comes through in this episode!

In this episode, the guys talk about how turkey hunting and the hunting industry have changed over the years, how Mike grew his business from a basement side hustle to a national icon, and the current state of turkey populations and hunting regulations in Alabama.
