Trusting God Above All

In this homily, we reflect on the parable of the rich man and Lazarus and the question at the heart of it all: Who are we really trusting in? Jesus reminds us that both suffering and blessings can shape our hearts depending on how we respond. The poor man who suffered in this life is comforted in eternity, while the rich man who had everything failed to love and help others. This story invites us to trust the Lord more deeply and use our lives to love, serve, and store up treasure in heaven.
