    Filsan Abdiaman is a Fitness Professional, Brazillian jiu-jitsu enthusiast, ultra-runner and Brooks Running Canada Brand Ambassador. She discovered her passion for running as a form of therapy to deal with depression and anxiety attacks after a breakup in 2013. Now racing ultras and drawing attention to mental health (and recently, eating disorders) — her experience has allowed her to pass on her new found joy and wisdom to other women.   • Reid: Delta Firefighter's Marathon in Full Gear for B.C. Children's Hospital

    Reid Taylor is a Delta Firefighter who has now run 2 marathons wearing 45-pounds of his turnout gear. Reid has always been an athlete but endurance running was something entirley new to him. After his first marathon he began to get chest pains and training stopped abruptly. We chat about how he overcame a 90% blockage in his artery and eventually geared up to run the marathon a second time in March 2024.
