On January 22, 2026, the Chino Valley Police Department partnered with the Tri-City Task Force to conduct a targeted speed enforcement detail in Chino Valley. The Tri-City Task Force included the Chino Valley Police Department, Prescott Police Department, and the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office. The enforcement detail took place from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and resulted in 53 vehicle stops. During the detail, officers issued 44 speeding citations, 1 criminal citation, and 44 additional citations for various traffic violations.
