Mission 5: Voidsong in our Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 co-op playthrough! We head to the planet Avarax to reach the astropathic relay and send a message to Lord Calgar.Along the way, we battle through Tyranid swarms, face a Carnifex boss fight, and deal with the mysterious arrival of the Thousand Sons. We also dive into 40k lore, discussing the Horus Heresy, the origin of Primaris Marines like Cairon, and the suspicion of heresy within our own squad.

Before we started playing Mission 5 of Space Marine 2, Alex discussed some more specific lore about Warhammer and it's factions. Nathan had some questions...

We step away from the main story of Space Marine 2 for a moment to play Inferno. This is a little side story between Mission 1 and 2. It also introduces players to different roles and loadouts you can take in multi-player. Nathan gets to use big guns, Alex gets to smash things with a hammer. Everybody wins.

A rare occasion in our playthrough series, we are going to play an action shooty game. We have indeed chosen to jump into Space Marine 2 and take on the not-zergs. Because this is Warhammer, Alex will be explaining more about the lore of this world and the characters, while Nathan tries to concentrate on what is happening. Luckily, Space Marine 2 is multi-player, so we will be fighting side-by-side, which will go about as well as you could imagine.
