Tip 9: Keep the temperature cool

Always keep in mind that the car also needs to feel slightly cool to a human to be comfortable and safe for a dog. A dog’s body temperature is two degrees higher than ours. So keep a window slightly open for fresh air circulation, and check that the temperature in the back seat remains under 20 degrees centigrade.
