Tip 3: Transferring to the car

Once your pooch is happy in their pet carrier, or wearing a seat belt harness, and there’s no signs of stress, you’re ready to transfer to the car! Depending on the height of your car, your dog might need a ramp to get in and out to minimise pressure on their joints. For smaller dogs, gently pick them up and secure on the back seat. The end goal is to make sure your dog has a positive, comfortable experience entering the car.
