Sometimes being in a relationship where we are truly invested in the other person and that isn't reciprocated can be very challenging. We never know what exactly we are feeling or what is actually being done to us. With so many cases of emotional and verbal abuse now being commonly recognized its clear to see that here in Calypso's writings there could have potentially been some of that going on in her past relationships.
