Decades ago, someone in the Iowa Department Of Transportation had the idea to pay farmers to keep a single row of corn up after harvest to act as a snow fence. Craig Bargfrede of the Iowa DOT tells Jeff the rows keep roads clear and save taxpayers a LOT of money.
